Personal Privacy

Hopsie collects personal information from you, such as name and email address, when you sign up for our service or contact us by email. Additionally, all personal and donor information you voluntarily provide us will be securely stored on our server and subject to the Data Privacy provision of this policy. We also track many of the actions you take on our site in order to improve our service.

We may also use any metadata collected from you for internal record keeping and to improve our products and services. In addition, we may use data- with identifying characteristics removed- for industry research.

We will never share this information with anyone unless required by law.

We understand that the data you send to Hopsie is confidential and treat it as such. We will never share the data you send us with anyone unless required by law. Access will be restricted only to certain Hopsie staff and people you provide your email and password to. In order to guarantee the privacy of your data we request that you do not share your username and password with anyone outside of your organization. Hopsie staff will only have access to your data in situations where it is necessary to further development or provide support. They will never replicate, download, copy/paste, or reference this data outside of the reasons stated above.

We do reserve the right to publish aggregated studies, scrubbed of any identifying information, in order to advance the fundraising field and improve the Hopsie service.
